has four heating stations up to 1100oC, three measuring stations and a turbomolecular pump reaching a vacuum of 5 x 10-10 hPa. It is possible to measure adsorption-desorption isotherms with different gases (N2, CO2, Ar, etc.) as well as to determine the heat of adsorption. The main parameters that could be determined by the obtained isotherms are: specific surface area, pore volume at a defined relative pressure, pore size distribution by various methods (BJH, MP, DFT, and others)
The apparatus provides chemisorption mode operating capabilities (with H2, CO, NH3) with fully automatic operation from in-situ preparation, including switching of the gas used, flow control and furnace control (heating and cooling).
