Main research interests

My main research interests lie in the synthesis, modification, and application of advanced porous and nanostructured materials. This includes the development of micro/mesoporous and nanostructured oxides and functionalizing nanosized mesoporous silica materials with diverse organic groups and transition metal/metal oxide species. I am particularly focused on the physicochemical characterization of these modified materials using techniques such as TGA, TPR, IR spectroscopy, UV-VIS spectroscopy, and adsorption methods. In catalysis, my work investigates the properties of synthesized materials in processes relevant to sustainable energy and environmental protection as well as their applications in the in industry.
